Broke a cap?

Most caps are sold with a season behind them, a few with a lifetime, and the one-off collector pieces with neither. Tell us what happened and we will make it right — you keep the broken one either way.

Step 1 of 2

At the top of your order confirmation email.

Bought over a counter? We cannot look the order up, so bring the receipt instead — a photo of it, or a screenshot of the Swish payment.

Shop, club, cup or the player who sold it to you.

The name on the shell, if you know it.

A photo of the receipt or a screenshot of the payment. JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 8 MB.

Straight from your phone is fine.

Slash, board, faceoff, cold night, first shift — the more we know, the better the next mould gets.

If we approve it, this is where the new cap goes.

Optional, but it is what stops a parcel going back.

Optional. The carrier texts it when the parcel lands.

What counts

Hockey counts. Slashes, boards, blocked shots, cold buses at six in the morning. Chewing it, boiling it or reversing over it does not.

What happens next

You get a reference straight away, a person looks at it within a couple of days, and you get an answer either way. If it is covered, a new cap goes in the post.

Why we ask what you were doing

Every break tells us something about the mould. The description is the part that makes the next cap harder to break — so be blunt about it.
