Fitting guide
1 - Pick a size
First step is to pick the correct size for your cap with the help of this size table.
Stick Flex | Size | ||
---|---|---|---|
20-35 | YTH | Small | |
40-52 | JR | Small | |
55-70 | INT | S/L* | |
75-110+ | SR | Large | |
Goalie | YTH – SR | Large |
* If the outer height of the stick is 29mm or above, pick Large. Else pick Small.
2 - Fit the cap to your stick
If the cap fits perfectly (most of them do if you pick the correct size above) just replace your regular cap with this one and start using it.
The cap should fit tight and not fall off during rough and tough play.
2A - if your cap fits too loose.

Add some regular stick/grip tape to the cap to make it fit tighter. Maximum 2 layers though – do not pick the wrong size and compensate with tape.
2B - if your cap is slightly to tight

To some degree, you should force the cap down the stick but not in a way that you break the stick. If the cap is too tight you can use a regular knife and cut some of the fillets away. Cut small pieces at a time to avoid cutting to much.
